I can't believe the hloidays are through!
I have been so consumed with other things that I haven’t written in my diary for a while now. I’m sure I will leave some things out in here but I won’t forget them in my mind.
Christmas and New Year’s was excellent. I got me a tool belt, a police scanner, gold hoop earrings, DVD’s, and all sorts of other things. Brea got a diamond and gold bracelet, DVD’s, shirts, sleep pants, and again, all sorts of stuff. Carrie drove down to N.C. with us the day after Christmas and my dad gave her a Gibson, double neck guitar! The girl was afraid to touch it when she opened it and cried her eyes out! It was a great gift for her and a very nice thing for my dad to do. The trip was fun itself, and we played with the twins and with Maddy, they are getting so big and precious. Carrie, Brea and I went into some old worn down country houses for fun and we found an old record player that still works. No telling how old it is. It needs some cleaning up.
I have a new project I’m working on, as of today when I’m through typing in my diary, but it has nothing to do with the band, I’m going to write another book that will hopefully get published. With the idea that I have, I will be able to have volume after volume and who knows what will come of it. I’m still working on the project for the band that’s been in the air for a year and a half now, still haven’t given up on it. I also have another show idea I’m going to put together in my spare time. It has to do with the band, but focuses more so on something else that a lot of people have interest in.
It’s been nice not playing out as much as we were used to. It’s spoiling me a little bit. I’ll never let the band go, but there is nothing wrong with taking breaks. No need to kill ourselves unless we need to, right? And we are getting OLDER!
Brea’s first day back to work was yesterday. I hated to see her leave, that spoiled me too. I love having her around, all the time!
