Welcome baby Ijonae!

Angela and I went to visit my niece Tatum and her new baby Ijonae Veretta Swain. 9lbs. and 11oz. and mommy is doing fine. Tatum also has a son, Isaiah. He is now a proud big (little) brother. The baby looks just like mommy and is beautiful.

My girls are gone!

Angela and Stevie took Angela's mom and Fancy to our beach house in NC yesterday. So it was me and the weasssssal all alone. We didn't do much. I went to tan and instead of cooking I had my favorite(chinese). Then we watched T.V. and played. I missed my girls and couldn't sleep without them. They will be back today(gosh). I hope they hurry. I hope when I get off they will be waiting for me at the door. I know one thing. I LOVE MY FAMILY!!

Well....

We talked to the loan officer, and it's going to take a little longer to buy a house than we expected. There are a few things on our credit that AREN'T supposed to be there! And we have to get them cleared up so we won't be a "high-risk" loan. The good news is we were approved for $125,000! So we now know what we have to do to reach our goals.

Teresa is coming in to spend the weekend with us from Richmond today. We always look forward to her visits. She really is a pleasure to be around, and we love her. I cleaned the spare room for her yesturday and got Henry to clean his bathroom. It wasn't bad to begin with, just a little dusty, needed to be done anyway.

We get started today!

We have our meeting with the loan officers and realtors to discuss our "to do" list to begin the proceedings of buying a house. We are so anxious and excited, I can't wait and I've been looking forward to doing this for a very long time and so has the rest of my girls.

Everyone around me seems to be having health issues, I wish for everyone I love to take care of themselves...

What are we going to have for dinner?.... better ask my woman. It has to be simple cause we are going to be busy this evening and won't have time to really cook anything big.

My boy Jizz spent the day with me yesturday. We watched dvd's and joked around all day, it was fun... he's my boy. Come to find out, and I don't know why after all these years I can't remember, his birthday is this month, his woman's birthday is this month, and my sister-in-law's birthday is also this month! Gonna be busy getting gifts and cards together!

Glad the weekend's over!

Man, it was a long weekend! Brea' and I kinda knew beginning Friday evening that things were probably not going to go as planned. Carrie was having her issues to start it off and then the Town Point Pub didn't want to sign our performance agreement when we got there to unload!
It was a little messy, but it all got straightened out, then we all got drunk and partied the rest of the night. Kim and Chris had their hands full with us, I wouldn't let Chris leave the dance floor with me and Kim spent the later part of the night in the bathroom with Brea! I had a great time and I think the the others did too for the most part. We always look for excuses to hang out together outside of playing music all night. We'll do it again soon...

Saturday went really well, besides the fact that we were extremely hung over from the night before! I had to take care of my baby all day long, which I love doing. The kids and I let her set back and take it easy until show time. I was so tired and my back was really bothering me that night.

Brea and I went and got our "hair did" yesturday. Brea's looks really good, more blonde and she kept the length, thank God! On one side of my head it's light red and on the other it's blonde. So depending on what kind of day I want to have I can just flip my hair over and go.

This week we are meeting with some realtors and loan officers to talk about purchasing a....
HOUSE! I am SO looking forward to buying a house with the woman I love and spending the rest of my life in it with her and our lovable and adorable kids! I can't wait to decorate and all that jazz! It's all I want to think about, so I've really been watching a lot of the home decorating shows that come on television.

Next week I am going to take my mother to our beach house to spend some quality time with her. We used to spend a lot of time together but don't really have the chance to anymore. I think she's looking forward to it just as much as I am. I look for any excuse to go to the beach house, I haven't really had the chance to show it off to anyone, and we have it set up so cute! We told her that we would let her and her husband take it for the weekends some time cause it's a great getaway, and they like traveling as much as we do.

Let me stop rambling on and do some work. Have to make a grocery list too...
