It's all good!

I am feeling much, much better. Now I've just been basically coughing up crap the past few days. It'll all be gone soon, thank God!

Brea met Fifty Cent Last Thursday at her work. She also took some really great pictures and said he and his whole group were really nice people. She gave him and his record label a TGB C.D. and his peeps said they were coming back in a couple of weeks to watch us perform. I hope so... She is going to be meeting a whole lot of really cool celebs the next few weeks, Faith Evans being one of them. She's so lucky... at least I get the pics and the love letters. They all write me love letters cause they LOVE me... maybe I'm exaggerating just a bit.

Saturday morning Brea and the kids woke me up really early, cause we all were going to the beach house! I couldn't get out of Virginia fast enough! We all had a wonderful time. Stevie showed Stitch around and the two of them played like usual. Stevie loves having Stitch as a travel buddy and Stitch loves to travel like Stevie! Our kids are so perfect!
As soon as we pulled up at the house yesturday I began to feel sick to my belly, I wanted to go back to the beach house with my girls. I got in a real pissy mood but it didn't last long cause my woman made me snap out of it.

Well, It's Monday and I haven't dusted or mopped in two weeks. I have quite a bit of laundry to do as well so let me act like the housewife I am...

I don't feel good... GOSH!

That was a very cute little entry I just read. My wifey has been taking very good care of me since Sunday. I am feeling much better today, still taking medicine and drinking plenty of juices. I have the flu or something, I want it to GO AWAY! I know my baby wants me to get better, she's been running herself ragged for me, also loosing sleep on my behalf.

This past Friday at H2O's my damn bass goes out on me! If it ain't one thing it's another... I ended up playing on my spare bass which is smaller than your normal bass. It was difficult, but I got through the night. Brea took it in to the repair shop on Monday and the guy fixed it on the spot. A wire came undone and he melted it back together. And yes, our anny was great, more than I could have asked for! Can't wait for next one!

Got the results from the stupid ninevolt awards thing... we came in third. No one's heard of most of the winning bands! I think it's rigged anyway. So I may me a little sore, but it ain't the grammys or nothing!

Doesn't look like much has been happening in our forums. We need to talk more about that to poeple I suppose, to get them in there posting.

Brea is at work today and she is meeting... drum roll please... Fifty Cent! Told her she has to take pictures for all of us to see. Hope she's having fun, she's the best at that stuff!
Gotta catch up on some work that I've missed this week. Talk to you later...

My baby is sick.

Little Miss Angela and the Rev are very sick. I am trying to take care of them but Angela hates taking medicine and the Rev, well he goes to the store and never returns so I have not given him his medicine. They turn into babies when they are sick I don't mind. I love babying her when she is sick. At least she waited until after our 8 year anniversary dinner. That was absolutly beautiful. We had dinner at Brutti's in downtown Portsmouth. Great place, great live jazz, wonderfull food and even better wine. It was very romantic and the perfect evening. We exchanged gifts before dinner. I cried(no laughing). She took my diamond ring that she gave me 8 years ago and had it sized. I have not wore it in 5 years. It was a size ten because I was a size 24! Once I lost all that weight my beautifull ring didn't fit anymore. I was scared to have it sized because it had already been sized. Well she did it and I LOVE it more now than I ever did. I gave her a diamond series Elgin watch. I think she loved it. I know I am very thankfull for the 8 years we have invested into each other. And I know God has blessed me with my perfect match and I love her and our kids Stevie and Stitch.

We now have a NEW system!

Brea and I went out and purchased a new sound system for the band. We bought a Yamaha 24 channel mixer board and a new amplifier to add to the other two. We have a few more little extra things to buy today, but overall it looks great and is going to sound even better. We really did need a new one anyway. Hopefully we won't have to shell out any more money for one of those bastards anytime soon!

We received a call last night from The Town Pointe Pub asking us to play, so we are. We are virgins to this place, never played there before. I hope it's nice and I'm sure we can get a good crowd in there. We know alot of Portsmouth poeple.

This Friday night will be the first run of of our equipment at H2O's. PLEASE... don't let anything mess up!

Talk to you again soon...

HAPPY VALENTINTE'S DAY!

Friday night was packed at Chevy's, and we all had a blast! We were celebrating Brea's birthday early with all the folks there and had a really grat show. Everyone there is really friendly and fun to play for. We're looking forward to going back there next month.

Saturday night, oh Saturday night! Well, the party went really well. The place was slammed packed, everyone was drinking and having a great time, there were balloons and gifts all over the place... and right when we get ready to start, our damn equipment starts shorting out on us! And when I say shorting out, I mean shorting out! It was impossible to perform, and it was so embarrassing! It was really hard for us to keep smiles on our faces when you're in the spotlight like that and something terrible happens, but what do you to... So, we ended up partying with all our friends all night long. It was a shame that it had to happen on Brea's birthday, but it kinda forced her to just hang out and have a good time instead of working on stage.

She woke me up this morning with her sweet touch to make sure she wished me a happy valentine's before she left. I got up soon after to tend to the kids and the little stinker had left me another valentine's day card on the coffee table! We had already exchanged gifts, so I thought, so she got one up on me this year.

All in all I think she had a wonderful birthday and very nice valentines. I enjoyed myself a whole lot this weekend, just sitting back letting her make all the decisions and getting anything she wants, since it's her birthMONTH!

Today when she gets off from work we have to go to the music store, to buy a whole new system of course! That should be really fun for her! I don't mind, I just don't like the dent it leaves in my pocket! We needed to upgrade anyway...

It's Friday!

Man oh man, did I have a great morning today! It's the day before my babe's birthday and we woke up the best way possible... I won't get into it, but it was GREAT! It also helps with my cramps, Aunt Flow is visiting me the next few days...

We have a show tonight at Chevy's, this place is knda cool cause we don't have to load in all of our equipment, they have a pretty decent house system.

Tomorrow our friend Teresa is driving down from Richmond for Brea's birthday. She's gonna go to the show with us and crash here at the house. I can't wait for her to see Stitch, she's ( we think it's a girl now) gotten so much bigger in just these two weeks! The last time Teresa saw her she was almost dead, she was so sick, and skinny, and white with dehydration. We saved her, she is doing SO good now!

Tomorrow is going to be a pretty busy day. Teresa and Henry are going to help me prepare for Brea's party. We have to pick up the cake, a few decorations, etc... It's all worth it though, anything to see a smile on her face.

Done!

Well, yesturday I went to JBR's and bought Brea a gold bracelet for her birthday, along with a few other gifts. I also ordered her a special cake from her kids and have already prepared surprises for Valentine's and our 8 year anniversary that's coming up in a week. I knew we wouldn't be able to wait until Sat. so she opened all her gifts last night. It worked out perfect, the show we had last night got cancelled at the last minute, we were both tired and I really wanted to just spend some time with her and the kids. She loved her presents which made me very happy! One of them included the movie The Grudge, so we sat around and watched it. It was pretty scary...

I hope she enjoys her weekend, my plans are to make sure of it. I have a few little tricks up my sleeve as well, so I hope she doesn't think it's over yet!

I wish she was here with me now instead of working... it's raining outside and everything. Great snuggle weather!

Going downstairs to curl up with Stevie and watch some television.

I don't know...

I really don't know what I'm going to get Brea for her birthday. I have a few things in mind, now I just need to make my mind up! I know she'll love whatever the kids and I choose to get her. It'll be a special birthday for her, I'll make ssure of that!

We played at Okey Dokey's this past Saturday night. Man, it seemed like the night was dragging out so long! My fingers started burning so bad I thought they were going to fall off. My poor baby's throat was trying to give out on her, from being sick the previous week and Henry decided to get drunk the first song! It all panned out though, we made Henry eat french fries and made the best of the situation. We were also celebrating Lauren's birthday. During the break we had an accoustic act called Under Current go up and play a few songs. They were really good, and I liked their songs of choice.

These kids...of ours... are so ADORABLE. I am Da Mommy! Gotta go tend to my young'ns and clean this house for my hard-working, sexy, beautiful wife!

Better...

While my baby (Brea) is feeling better in the belly and slept pretty decent the night before, she was up all night last night coughing her little soul out! I plan for her to take it easy tonight and to just play with our kids.

Our kids, oh my goodness! Stitch, the ferret, was supposed to be part of Brea's birthday present but I think I am going to get her something better, cause he's my little man! Stevie and him were playing so good together in the living room this morning and she even baby sat him while I got his food ready. He is on a special diet to get him back to good health. She's so adorable, she's still trying to figure out what exactly he is! He loves to play with me and to hear me scream in a high pitched voice, so he'll act like he's going to get me and wait for me to scream and then he bounces all around like he's laughing his tail off! It's the cutest thing. We are all still trying to get used to each other.

No show tomorrow night, so my woman told me she was going to make me one of my favorites, only when she makes it though, MEATLOAF! We bought some new releases too so we'll set around, cuddle, and watch 'em!

Talk to you soon!

Whew... what a week!

Last Thursady night was our show with the other girl acts at the Norva. It went really well. I would have liked to have seen more people, but all of us put on a great show. We have a few of our friends drive from Hopewell... Bert, Cindy, Tonya, Janeese and Sylvia. Our good friend Teresa ended up spending the whole weekend with us, which was nice. Her birthady is around the corner so we had to show her a good time, plus, she's very pleasant to be around.

We played Friday night and that show went well. The place was packed and we were all having a great time. We were all pretty tired from all the exitement the day before.

Saturday night we had a band called The lucky Changs play during our break. It was to help by giving us a small break and to have a little something different thrown in the show. They were really good and our crowd meshed really well with them.

We got a call on Sunday morning from Brea's neice, Britney saying they had found a baby ferret that was close to death. So... Brea, Teresa and I drove over there to inspect the situation. Needless to say, that baby ferret is living comfortably right now as I write this, downstairs in a 2-story condo with over $200 worth of accessories and a fat belly. We fell in love after we picked him up, bought some stuff immediatly and then Stevie, Brea and I went out and bought more stuff! Stevie loves the ferret, which we named Stitch, Thank God!

My poor baby (Brea') has fallen ill with food poisoning. She was up all night last night puking from both ends, God bless her, and she felt so bad she called in to work sick, which she never does. I've been doing everything I can to help her and to try to make her feel better. It breaks my heart to see her like this. I hope she starts to feel better soon. I got her a get well balloon from the store when I went earlier to see if it would cheer her up a bit. I'd like to think it did. Gotta go tend to my family, I'll be back...
